After much speculations and rumors, BlackBerry has finally released its official messaging app BBM Application for Android and iOS devices. Last month BlackBerry announced the official roll out of BBM for both Android and iOS, but it was delayed due to a leaked version was seen floating in the Play Store. Later the leaked version was disabled and the release was postponed indefinitely. However iOS version was released smoothly but later it was also postponed.

Few days ago it released its app on a line up basis to only those who had pre-registered and others who haven’t register have to wait. But now the wait has come to an end. BlackBerry has rolled out the app to everyone.
Users get connected with each other through a PIN which is allocated to them once they had signed with a BlackBerry ID. It doesn’t use your phone number. Using this PIN users can add friends through SMS, Emails, and QR Codes. Like all other cross platform massaging apps it allows its users to exchange the text, pictures, documents and voice messages with each others.
