Samsung Galaxy Note 7 vs Apple’s iPhone 7

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been surrounded by loads of hype. It is set to launch in the US on August 19th. With the aggressive marketing campaigning by Samsung it has got everyone’s expectations sky high. We should however keep in mind that the Galaxy Note 7 is direct successor of Note 5. The company has taken this step just to avoid any inconsistencies and to go along with their smartphone series that is the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. The company thought that the consumers would think of their next device in the Note flagship to be inferior to iPhone if they named note 6 against iPhone 7 and & Plus.

Now the problem that the customers face is should they buy the Note 7 this month or wait for a month or two for the new Apple smartphone. Here are some of the specifications of both smartphones to compare and decide if you should wait or not. While the screen of Galaxy Note 7 is dubbed as the best smartphone screen there ever was with 5.7 inch dual curved super AMOLED display with high QHD resolution. The screen of iPhone 7 is mostly similar to iPhone 6 and might have some upgraded sharpness to 1080p.

The system of Note 7 consists of 4 GB RAM and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Samsung Exynos 8890. Whereas iPhone 7 Plus is expected to have 3 GB of RAM and iPhone 7 will have 2 GB for RAM and it will run on the Apple’s A10 processor. In the camera department the Note 7 will be sporting a 12 MP rear camera while iPhone 7 is rumored to come out with a dual lens rear camera system.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with the starting variant in storage with 62 GB which will be expandable up to 2556 GB through microSD card.
