Things Required to Turn your Android Mobile as IP Camera:
- Android Mobile Phone,
- Personal Computer / Laptop,
- WiFi Network (we will be making it as an hotspot)
- “IP Webcam” app which we call as IP Camera from Google Playstore.

Getting Started:

- Step 1 : First, (you must make connection between your mobile and your PC).
Turn on your mobile WiFi and switch on HOTSPOT mode. Now pair your Mobile with your PC (WiFi enabled).
- Step 2 : Now open the IP webcam app on your mobile and click on “Start Server”.
Application will automatically start the video feed process and will provide you with an IP address and Port.
- Step 3: Now place your mobile on the safe location where you need to record.
But make sure it is within WiFi range and have a sufficient battery backup.
- Step 4 : Then, Open your web browser and type the IP address and the port no,
which was generated on mobile with the IP webcam app in to the URL.
The IP address and the Port no will be like this,
http://192.168.1.21:8080
- Step 5 : Press Enter after typing the IP and port .
Now click on “Use Java Browser Plugin” and it will ask for your permission.
Simply provide permissions for running the application.
- Step 6 : you are done. Now you can see the video on to your PC which is being recorded using your android mobile.
