Wildfrost review: card battles that are charming, engaging, and chaotic

Wildfrost is great at making triumphant moments. Early on in my run, when I was

still getting used to the game, I ran into a boss that got stronger when I hit it. Its card art had gotten bigger, juicier, and more menacingly mocking.

With one hit, it could have easily killed any member of my team. Three of my team members were

scheduled to act one turn before it, which was a relief. The first one did a little bit of healing, but the second one

doubled a stack of negative effects I had set up and turned the goliath into a big bomb.
