Security is the main whenever we are online. We all use Facebook and Gmail regularly. That too we use it in one or more systems like in Colleges, Offices, and Browser Centers etc. Sometimes we may forgot to log out from the account which might make our account insecure. To get rid of this you can Remote Log out feature. Using this feature you can log out your Facebook and Gmail Account from anywhere.
Remote Log Out for Facebook
It is very simple to log out your Facebook Account remotely. By doing so, you are not only logging out from the previous sessions but also you can check the last 10 activity sessions that have been logged in with details of the networks and devices.
Step 1:- Login into your Facebook Account.
Step 2:- Click On the Settings Gear Icon on top right hand side of the page.
Step 3:- Select Account Settings and then Select Security from the left hand side pane.
Step 4:- Under Security select Active Sessions.
Step 5:- Select which session you want to end and Click End Activity.
Remote Log Out for Gmail
The following steps can be followed for logging out remotely from the open sessions in place elsewhere.
Step 1:- Login into your Gmail Account.
Step 2:- Scroll down to bottom of the page. At the right hand side you will find the Details.
In case your account is open you will find notification or else there will be not be any notifications
Step 3:- Click on Details. A new window will appear.
- The new window will show all your recent activity with details of browser and network,
- If your account is not logged out you will find the information in that window.
Step 4:- Select Sign out all other sessions to sign out from the session that is opened simultaneously from other place.
The account that have not been logged out is unsafe as it can be used in many ways. We are responsible of our account and we should secure our account. If these steps are followed than our account is secured from the outsiders.
